Indian Ladies in Ireland is an independent, non-partisan community organisation. A volunteer leadership team guides the organisation and is committed to community service, responsible governance and its long-term development.
We aim to create a community where women can connect, participate and access information and community support. Respect, inclusion, dignity and trust are central to our approach.
As Indian Ladies in Ireland continues to grow and develop, we regularly review our governance arrangements and policies.
Privacy Notice
We respect the privacy of our members, volunteers and website visitors. We handle personal information responsibly and use it only for legitimate community and organisational purposes.
We do not share personal information with third parties without an appropriate basis for doing so. However, we may disclose information where required or permitted by law.
Safeguarding Statement
The safety and wellbeing of everyone involved in our community is important to us. We aim to provide welcoming, respectful and inclusive activities for everyone who participates.
We take appropriate safeguarding measures when children or vulnerable people participate in our events or programmes. Where specialist safeguarding, welfare or protection concerns arise, ILI may signpost individuals to appropriate statutory, professional or specialist services.
Community Rules
Indian Ladies in Ireland is built on kindness, mutual respect and support. We expect members to communicate respectfully, respect different backgrounds and opinions, and protect the privacy of others.
Discriminatory, abusive, threatening or otherwise inappropriate behaviour is not acceptable. The ILI team may address or remove content or conduct that undermines the safety, dignity or wellbeing of the community.
Image & Media Consent
We may take photographs and videos at Indian Ladies in Ireland events to document and celebrate our community. We may also use this content to share our activities through our website, social media and other communications.
We will follow appropriate consent procedures where required. In particular, we will take additional care with identifiable images of children and vulnerable persons.
Anyone with concerns about the use of an image can contact the ILI team.
Feedback & Contact Process
We welcome feedback and take concerns seriously. Anyone wishing to raise a concern can contact Indian Ladies in Ireland at indianladiesinireland@gmail.com
We will handle concerns respectfully and, where appropriate, confidentially. An appropriate member of the ILI leadership team will review each concern, taking account of its nature and any relevant organisational policy.
In some cases, a matter may fall outside the role or competence of Indian Ladies in Ireland. Where appropriate, we may direct the individual to a relevant statutory, professional or specialist service.
